Admission Overview
The admission procedure is the first step in ensuring your child’s continued growth and success at Infant Jesus School. We accept new students based on their performance in an entrance test conducted by the school as well as their performance in their previous school.
Admission Eligibility
Pupils seeking admission must keep the following eligibility criteria in mind:
Child should complete the specified age by June 30, 2024
- NURSERY – 3 Years 6 Months
- JR. K. G – 4 Years 6 Months
- SR. K. G – 5 Years 6 Months
Admission Rules
- We accept candidates irrespective of their caste or creed.
- As a general rule, we accept new entrants/candidates to Nursery .
- Admissions to other classes i.e., Class I – IX, is open to the students .
- Admissions shall depend on the availability of seats as well as students’ performance in an entrance test conducted by the school.
- Application for registration does not guarantee admission due to the limited availability of seats at the school.
- It is compulsory for candidates to submit a copy of their Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths (Panchayathu / Municipality / Corporation) at the time of admissions.
- Both the parents along with the child should be present for admissions.
Admission Requirements
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Registration of admission does not guarantee admission if the students fail to meet the school criteria.
- Admission to Nursery and KG is based on an informal interaction with the child as well as the parents.
- Admission to other (higher) classes is carried out strictly on the student’s merit and performance in the written test and interview. The decision of the principal shall be binding and final.
- Admission will be confirmed after verifying the documents, previous year’s mark sheet, and progress report (if applicable).
- The admission procedures will not be carried out in the absence of the parents or guardians.
Admission Documents
- One Photograph of the child.
- Copy of Birth Certificate.
- Aadhar Card copy of the child.
- Copy of the address proof of the parents.
- The school would also require the Caste certificate (if any) of the student’s father.
